Start with payment methods you can actually use
When comparing platforms, establish which payment methods are available in your region before looking at the minimum payout. A method appearing on a product page does not mean it is available in every country, for every account or in every currency.
Before investing time in integration, check whether the platform supports your individual or business status and whether the bank account name must match your publisher details. Prepare tax forms and identity documents according to the requirements the platform provides for your region.
Separate minimum payouts from payment schedules
A minimum payout tells you how much balance is needed to qualify for a payment. A payment schedule tells you when earnings enter the settlement process. Reaching a threshold does not necessarily mean immediate payment; verification, holds and other account conditions may still apply.
For terms such as Net 30 or Net 45, record more than the number. Confirm when the count begins and which earnings period it covers. Rely on the agreement, payment page or the platform’s explanation for the exact meaning.
Check these six items
Keep the same set of details for each candidate so you can compare them without missing important conditions:
- Payment region: Is your personal or business location supported?
- Account currency: Which currency is used for earnings, and which currency reaches your account?
- Payment threshold: Is there one minimum, or does it vary by method?
- Fees: Are there charges from the platform, payment provider or bank?
- Verification: What identity, address, tax or banking information is required?
- Payment process: How are settlement schedules, holds and exceptions explained?
If a detail is only described as “contact support,” mark it as unconfirmed. Do not fill in a number simply because it looks common elsewhere.
Identify who pays the revenue in mediation reports
For app mediation setups, confirm the paying party for each demand source separately. Combined reporting can help you monitor performance, but the amounts owed to you may sit in different accounts.
Regularly reconcile each source’s settlement reports with payment records. Keep estimated earnings, settled amounts and money received separate rather than treating them as the same figure.
Keep copies of terms and confirmations
When a partnership begins, save the payment rules, contract version and important correspondence. If policies change, check whether the update affects your payment method, settlement schedule or eligibility to continue.
Compare payment details in the website ad directory or app ad directory, then follow the official sources on each platform’s detail page. Items that are not publicly specified need confirmation through the current dashboard or the platform’s team.
Eligibility and payment policies may change. Before applying, check the platform’s current terms and your account settings.
